300+ gal Fish Tank / Aquarium w/ Wood Stand - $800 (Montville)

 

Selling a 300+ gallon glass aquarium [8ft (L) by 2ft (W) by 30in. (H)] with wood stand. I bought it about 4 months ago with intentions of resealing the tank with new silicone, but never got around to it. The tank is in good condition; there is NO cracks and the frame/glass construction is exceptional. The tank just needs to be resealed w/ new silicone. It held water just fine prior to the removal of the old silicone, but this tank was due for a reseal anyway; better to be safe than sorry. If you're wondering, there is also two heavy-duty removable cross braces made from thick steel. The wood stand has been completely sanded down, so it's ready to be repainted. I purchased it with a price tag of $2000, which was a great deal considering that a 300 gal w/ stand is worth $5000 brand new. I'm willing to let it go for $800 OBO, only because the resealing is an unfinished job. I would have loved to keep it, but its taking up space and I'm transferring to a college out of state.
