300Gallon Monster Glass Fish Tank + Stand + Canopy / Large Aquarium. - $945/-
This baby is hot.
Bought this tank on May 15th, 2011; however the structural engineer is advising from putting this on a raised foundation; hence the sale. My heart aches letting this beauty go; but cannot have it at the cost of compromising the house integrity.
Before you even read along, CAUTION - this tank is recommended for SLAB flooring only. Could work on raised foundation if you have retrofitted it. Anticipate approx 4000 lbs of dead weight. So, if you are still reading; below are the details.
Tank - 300 Gallon Glass tank 1/2 inch thick through out. Dimensions in inches are 96L x 30W x 24H. In excellent condition. Holds water; its almost 1/4 full to confirm; Very clean.
Stand - Dimensions in inches are 98L x 31.25W x 32.5H -- The stand is painted Brown. I still have the leftover brown paint if you would like. It's solid and very stable.
Canopy - Dimensions in inches are 100L x 32.75W x 7.75H -- Canopy is painted Brown as well.
Other notes about Tank:
- I bought the tank from the previous owner May14th, 2011 (previous owner bought it on May 10th, 2007. So he has had it for almost 4 years. He told me that he had the tank for less than 2 years)
- Makes me the third
- There are no leaks
- There are some scratches on the front side of the glass, primarily from the previous owner from live rock; however when filled not noticeable at all
- The right bottom border has about a 4" molding section (the plastic lip) that broke off when we were moving the tank through the window
- The previous owner had painted the back of the tank black. 1/2 inch of the paint has chipped away; easily repaintable in minutes
- I only have three glass covers
Pick-Up only. You will need atleast 8 people to help with the move. The tank, stand, and canopy are in easy to move locations.
